Widemouth Bay © Mr Wibble
Nothing better than the stormy coast, for blowing the cobwebs and your cares away.
J and I stayed here before returning to London for her big op. I remember her looking totally free - the wind taking away the worrying thoughts of the impending months. We cozied up for a long weekend in a rather splendid farm cottage.
One morning I woke early and stepped out to look at the stars, and caught a glimpse of the international space station, low in the sky. I thought of friends scattered around the world and, inevitably, wondered if they too were looking up with me. I asked the universe to be kind to them, myself, and especially J.
She had her first chemotherapy this week; and although tired, is as brave as a lion. We wait for CT results, and make the best of each day.

What a great photo :)
Ta, H. It's one of those HDR (high dynamic range) shots. Lots of fiddling about with bracketing etc.
