A brave new world

Battling through
J has been feeling the powerful effects of chemotherapy. Extreme fatigue, nausea, insomnia - all making life a slog. I'm ever amazed by her strength and continued ability to grab life by the balls.

Two more chemo sessions to go and we're clear of this phase in her recovery. Then there will be some minor surgery and 5 years of Tamoxifen treatment.

Building a future
I whizzed off to Earls Court last week for the Ideal Home Exhibition press day, and spent 3 hours snapping architectural designer John Prewer, "godfather of modular building" and the man behind the Eco House

John has spent his working life exploring and designing in this field. No wonder then, that he spent the whole three hours happily enlightening myself and my journalist friend on the virtues of sustainable living. We left exhausted and inspired.
